Lakes Head Cabot Trail

Lakies Head, is a dazzling scenic spot along the renowned Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, this iconic location offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, dramatic cliffs, and lush green forests that are sure to leave a lasting impression. As you stand at the headland, the sound of crashing waves below creates a serene backdrop, making it an ideal spot for contemplation and reflection.

This was my second trip to beautiful Nova Scotia for a night photography workshop. I spent 5 days on Cape Breton island photographing the Milky Way from various lookouts. Lakies Head was one of my favorite locations! There was a beautiful rocky shoreline that followed along the coast. It was a beautiful night amongst the stars!!
